By now everyone knows how small businesses have been impacted by COVID-19. Being an owner and also looking out for other small businesses around us like your favorite restaurants and your personal salon. I am grateful for everyone, who has been supporting DC Motorworks and still am during these challenging times.
We will be operating a little different to keep you and our staff safe during this time. We will no longer be able to service drop in customer, all appointments must be made over the phone, text, and email. There will be no physical or social interaction when you are here conversations will be over the phone, text, and email.
Customers will arrive for the appointment, park and lock vehicle, call us and walk to the front of shop and drop keys in the mail slot, during this time we will make note of the concerns and reasons for the visit.
The office, garage, waiting room, and washroom will not be accessible to customers, please do not enter the shop.
Keys will be disinfected. Once we are ready to bring your vehicle in, with gloves we will disinfect wipe down the door handle both outside and inside, steering wheel, shifter, seat belt, seat adjusters, turn signals and switches.
During the service or repair we will be wearing gloves the whole time when we are touching your vehicle. After the job is completed we will do another wipe down after the vehicle has been parked and waiting for customer pick up. Please note we will not vacuum your vehicle.
Payments can be made over the phone for credit cards, and e-transfers to (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Unfortunately, we will not be doing any test drives with customers at this time.
